From idea to production
We noticed the gap
After visiting dozens of supermarkets and pharmacies across Lagos and the South-East, we noticed the same pattern: talented business owners making decisions based on guesswork because the tools available were either too expensive, too complex, or built for a different market entirely.
We decided to build it ourselves
Instead of adapting a foreign product, we started from zero — interviewing shop owners, understanding their daily frustrations, and designing every feature around how Nigerian retail actually operates. Not how Silicon Valley thinks it should.
Fraud detection changed everything
When we added automated theft detection — flagging suspicious voids, price overrides, and cash mismatches — shop owners told us it was the first time any software had addressed the problem they lose the most sleep over. That became our defining feature.
